The FE 52 color line sensor is based on a color matrix chip. The integrated lighting system ensures the lines or color contrasts are reliably scanned, even if the surface is strongly reflecting. Thanks to the new evaluation and the teach-in process, not only the conventional lines or contrasts are reliably detected but also combinations of lines and contrasts. Especially with multiple identical lines the criterion taughtin is reliably detected; unintentional switching to a neighboring line is avoided.
The DO 4321 operating device with color touch screen can optionally be mounted either mechanically directly on the FE 5301 sensor, or at any other location. The operating device can then be connected to either directly on the sensor or on the nearest PoE port. The colored live video image provides the operator with optimal feedback on the criterion to be detected.
