Function
Lever-arm type stretching systems monitor and control the fabric tension of wires. Externally mounted fabric tension sensors continuously measure the fabric tension. A digital three-point controller continuously compares the actual value with the set target value and sends a correction value to the actuating drive of the lever-arm type stretcher. The tension on the wire is increased or decreased via the lever-arm type stretcher.
Area of use
The lever-arm type stretching system is used in the area of the wire sections for wire tension.
Application
Lever-arm type stretching systems can be freely mounted in terms of position. The adjustment stroke should be dimensioned for a 1-2% change in length of the wire and the necessary length required for changing the wire. The fabric tension sensor should be installed in the running direction of the wire as close to the stretch roll as possible. Only one lever-arm type stretcher can be operated in automatic mode per wire. Additional lever-arm type stretchers are to be positioned "manually" for optimum wire tension.
