Cold and warm assembly lines are designed to laminate different layers and strips materials of semi finishing material stored in cassettes or bobbins. They can be stand-alone or integrated in an extrusion line.
Slave strips come from let off (bobbin or cassette) or from mini extruder, in perpendicular or inline of machine direction. Automatic or manual threading of material on an assembly conveyor which can be textile or modular plastic conveyor.
E+L cameras are used to read the position of the master material to better apply the slave strips and these cameras can guide the master material according to the nose and groove detection.
