K 2010 - A new brake and clutch program complements the wide product portfolio of E+L
The magnetic particle brakes which have been used most successfully by Erhardt+Leimer for many years for web tension control of all sorts of materials have been enhanced still further. The torque range now available goes from 35 Nm to 170 Nm. The magnetic particle brakes ELB0350, ELB0650, ELB1200 and ELB1700 are predominantly implemented in processing plants on unwinders with a maximum torque of up to 170 Nm. This system is indispensable for processing paper, film and textile webs, as the web tension must be maintained constant along the processing path.
