Spreading systems X-PANDER

The spreading system consists of two independent spreading units. Each of these consists of three separate rollers and is mounted slightly diagonally on a frame. Two rollers of each unit are in permanent contact with the web. The mobile correcting roller of each unit dips into the tire cord on one side of the thread array web thereby influencing the width of the web. By adjusting the dip angle of the mobile rollers the thread array will be spread to the correct width.

 

Spreading system to control the width of textile tire cord in dip and hot stretching lines. Spreading is by 2 correction rollers which dip into the tire cord according to sensor signals. Both sides of the cord web are treated independently from each other. Roller adjustment is motorized.
